Mats quality are top quality (commercial grade). Although, I would leave a 4/5 stars because of the default in size consistency in manufacturing.
I purchased 700sqft of these and it was a pain to fit together because they were all different size even though it should of been the easiest to assemble. (Variation in size going up to 7/16")
If i did not mind big gaps, I could just fit any tiles anywere, but that would have been horribly crooked and my bench would have stock anywhere
With lots of time managing tiles size so it's not to bad, it's still looking sick though and the quality is there as expected.
Overall, very happy and impressed by the quality, i would recommend for smaller space to facilitate the installation and prevent to drag exponential gap at each aditionnal row.

We're glad to hear you're impressed with the commercial-grade quality of the mats, but we're sorry to learn that installation was frustrating due to sizing inconsistencies. We haven’t received similar feedback from other customers, but based on your comments, we took the time to re-inspect tiles and were unable to detect a measurable size discrepancy. In terms of installation, we’ve found that a few key steps can help prevent alignment issues:
- Always lay the tiles row by row, ensuring each tile is tightly aligned before moving on to the next.
- Use a rubber mallet to tap tiles into place for a snug fit.
- Avoid installing tiles from two different directions simultaneously and joining them in the middle, as this can easily cause cumulative misalignment and visible gaps.

I like these mats. Nice and thick for weight lifting. Easy to assemble and minimal smell. I just wish more were in stock.

These are better than horse stall mats because they're odorless, have the same thickness, and have a white spec so they look better. They also comes in tiles so it's easier to move about. Highly recommend.
