The bench is great, but the lifting handle came bent, and the guide holes for the foot pad is misaligned, causing a tilt and unable to use properly. But other than that, a really strong, stable bench. I would recommend this bench.

The bench is good quality and fairly sturdy. If you want to use it for step-ups or anything I don't recommend it as it is a bit wobbly for that purpose. But for standard exercises, it is pretty sturdy. The adjustments are easy and fast! Make sure you have a ratchet set that has bigger sockets! It doesn't come with any tools, which is fine because we had them, but we did need to buy bigger sockets. It didn't take very long to put together but the instructions were simply terrible. If it wasn't so funny how terrible the instruction booklet was, I'd have given it one less star, simply because I can't use it for all the moves I like to use a bench for, due to the unsafety of step-ups. It's generally a good bench, otherwise.

This model is indeed known for its solid construction and stability, so if your bench feels wobbly during step-ups, it likely indicates that some bolts may not be fully tightened. To maximize stability, please ensure:
Moving parts: Bolts around adjustable areas should be tightened until there's minimal play, yet still allowing smooth and easy adjustments without excessive friction.
Non-moving parts: These bolts must be securely tightened until the parts show no movement, even when significant force (such as your body weight) is applied.
Cushions: Tighten these bolts just enough to securely fix the cushion to the steel frame. Avoid over-tightening, as this could damage the threads inside the pad.

This bench is very solid and versatile. Tighten all bolts at the end once assembled.
The angle adjustments are much faster than the pin latch bench I had. I will probably buy the leg attachment next.
